The Taste: Tuesday at 9|8c on ABC

Watch the latest video of The Taste here: http://abc.tv/Z3jimp

The Taste is a mix of Chopped and The Voice; except no one is singing. You have the vibe and idea of Chopped with the blindfold taste testing of dishes of The Voice; again without the singing. The idea behind not knowing what dish belongs to who. You have home cooks and pro chefs all competing for the grand prize. There are 4 chefs judging; one of them being my fave. Anthony Bourdain. The first round is a group effort the second round is individual and then elimination follows.
The Taste will keep you hooked until the end.
During the show you will find yourself picking out your fave. judge and fave. contestant. In all, this will have you following the show as if it was American Idol: food version.
I recommend anyone to watch it. If you're a fan of Chopped, or simply a foodie you will absolutely love this. If you're not interested in food; the judges and contestants ALONE will entertain you. The judges are vibrant and aren't afraid to say their honest opinion, if you know what I mean.
With that said, catch The Taste every Tuesday at 9|8c on ABC!

Freakshow on AMC

If you're an oddball like me you should've been intrigued by the show Freakshow that comes out on AMC. I just love anything and anyone quirky and odd so as soon as I saw the teaser I knew I was going to watch the show! This TV series follows Todd Ray's bizarre family business which is a Venice Beach based Freakshow. He not only has spectacular people on his show but he also has strange animals and artifacts. The show goes by "Normal is relative."
And frankly I couldn't have said it better myself!
Freakshow is on AMC Thursday at 9:30|8:30c Follow @FreakShowAMC on Twitter and @FreakShowAMC on Facebook
Enjoy this teaser of Freakshow!

Love Me Smashbox Cosmetics Billboard: I was on a billboard! I'm the red-head.

The Taste on ABC

The Taste, a show on ABC Tuesdays at 9|8c, is a very interesting intense cooking competition show. After watching it once I guarantee you'll be hooked!
If you're a fan of Chopped you'll love this! It's great how the judges themselves don't know who's food their tasting. In all, it will keep you hooked until the last second.
The competitors come in a variety, from pro-chefs to home cooks with a passion for food. I'm an adventurous eater; I'll eat about anything you put in front of me (as long as it's edible). Yet I'm not a very adventurous cook; I follow recipes but don't experiment myself. The most adventurous dish to date that I've "tried" to make was chow mein. With help from my mother, I was able to accomplish it. If it wasn't for her I'd probably end up making something similar to instant soup.
Nonetheless this post was to give you a look into this great new show that will have you hooked!
Happy watching everyone!

Glade Expressions

I've been gone for a while! The Uni has been crazy hard work! I'm back to review a product I absolutely love which is the Glade Expressions kit. I received it free complimentary from BzzAgent. First off you can never go wrong with S.C Johnson products. They're all wonderful and everyone seems to have one of their products at home!
My favorite is the oil diffuser; not only does it look super chic but it actually works! I was quite skeptical that an oil diffuser could actually light up a room but this little chic oil diffuser actually leaves a long-lasting wonderful fragrance! I got the pineapple and mangosteen which smells like paradise! It's lush, exotic and just smells divine! I've had it for about 2 weeks now and it's still going strong!
It was perfect to place next to my Zen Garden box! Looks cute doesn't it?
The oil diffuser is my favorite but the fragrance mist is just as great! First off for all those eco-friendly people you'll love the fragrance mist cause the aluminum refill is recyclable! You don't have to buy the whole kit all over again just recycle that refill and buy another one. It you change up the fragrance you can remove the tag; the white curvy bottle still looks really chic! I got the Vibrant Bloom which is from the Spring Collection Limited Edition. I just adore this fragrance! When I spray it in any room it smells like blossoms are budding in the room; as if I have a garden hidden somewhere in the room and my garden is blossoming. It just smells so good! My sister begged me to buy her one as well! She is a fragrance mist horder! She has so many! She really loved Glade Expressions fragrance mist. If you have nasty lingering odors this is great! It just eliminates the odors and leaves you with a wonderful scent.

Nevertheless, two great products from S.C Johnson! They're chic, cute and have long-lasting fragrance! I always wanted to try out the oil diffuser cause it looked so cute! Thanks BzzAgent!

UPDATE 20.FEB.2013

With one of the coupons I bought another Glade Expressions fragrance mist. This one is the Pineapple and Mangosteen fragrance mist. I loved how it smelled in the oil diffuser so decided to get a fragrance mist. I also bought a cotton and Italian mandarin but decided to give that one to my mom. Nonetheless I love these products! They're absolutely wonderful! I don't think I'll be buying other brands of fragrance mists for a while.
