NYX ROUND LIPSTICKS SWATCHES!!!!!

I felt like I finally had enough lipsticks to do a blog about them. I love the NYX Round lipsticks. They are inexpensive and they have a large selection of different lipsticks. My camera hasn't been working so I took the pics with my iPhone. I took one pic with room lighting and the other in sunlight. I hope this helps anyone trying to find their right shade! I love these lipsticks most are creamy and opaque. All the swatches are just 2 coats of the lipstick. Some will be streaky because I only did 2 coats but you can deff. build the color on your lip. ALL THE PICS HAVE NO LIP LINER AND NO FILTER/EDITING.

Let's start!

Varsity Voxbox!!!!

How many college kids are stressing out since we're near the end of the semester! Yikes! Good luck to everyone with upcoming exams and projects!

I got some much needed TLC thanks to Influenster! I received the Varsity Voxbox complimentary from Influenster.

Here's a pic and quick instavid!

The Varsity Voxbox came with a Kiss Nail Dress (I adore these things!) NYC Big Bold Plumping Lip Gloss, Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Wash, Airheads Extreme Bites and Tide PODS detergent.
Review Time!!!!!!

If you haven't tried Kiss' Nail Dresses I would highly highly highly recommend you to give them a try. I cannot stress enough how great this product is. They are easy to use and come in a ton of different styles! I adore them I own about 5. I uploaded a quick instavid to show how to apply them!

NYC Big Bold Plumping Lip Gloss: I honestly wasn't impressed with this product. It's a good product but nothing that astounded me or stood out to me. It didn't really create a "plumping" effect for me. It was sticky and too tacky, not exactly an astounding lip gloss. A good lip gloss but not one I'd repurchase.

Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Wash: This "wash" didn't really do anything for my skin. I used up all 3 samples given to us Influensters and I didn't notice any significant change in my skin. The good thing is that it didn't cause me to break out but I can't really write a good review since I only received sample sizes.

You see that bag up there? That is SUPER KAJSASLJGLAJSLG DELICIOUS! I don't usually like Air Heads but these were gummy, not too sweet not too sour just perfect! I had to repurchase them!

Tide PODS detergent: Tide PODS detergent were made for college life. Detergent in a little pod? How much easier can it get? Just throw that little sucker in and you're done. No measuring, no messy gooey detergent; perfect. BUT I notice it doesn't seem to get stains or sweat stains out. I'd personally stick to the normal detergent and take that little extra time to put sufficient detergent for my clothes. Other than that a really great idea!
Once again thanks Influenster for the great products!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara

I received my very own Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara complimentary thanks to Influenster for reviewing purposes.

This mascara definitely shocked me...in a good way.

I love Rimmel Mascara's I own 2 and they are deff. in my top faves.

This mascara's wand is curved  like an hourglass; perfect for your lower lashes and also to get deep into the top middle section of your lashes .

Sorry for the white looking wand, I had my flash on.

I have fairly long lashes. Usually close teethed rubber type mascara's do wonders for me since they tend to elongate them even more. This is a classic mascara wand. They tend to not work on me so well but this one is definitely different. It elongated my lashes without any clumping whatsoever.

Tips: If you use more than one mascara apply this one first. It tends to clump if you use it after you already have mascara applied.

SUGARPILL REVIEW!!! Sweetheart Palette and more!

Hello! A couple of months ago I ordered a couple of Sugarpill products and a Lime Crime velvetine.
Here's the picture after unboxing.

With my ordered Sugarpill threw in a cute glitter sticker, a bussiness card and a sample of the loose eyeshado, Stella, which I already put it in a little empty pot I had.

Sooooo, let's go on with the review! Disclaimer: All pictures are mine*I will review these producs based off of 5 things. 1. Packaging 2. Price 3. Longevity (Durability, easily smudged etc.) 4. Colors (Vibrancy, opaque, color variety, easy to blend etc.) 5. Texture

Packaging

The packaging for all the products are extremely cute and unique. I keep everything in it's box because it's just too cute to throw away!!! Now the packaging for where the products are in is very sturdy and thick. The Sweetheart palette is pretty heavy and sturdy. If you carry a lot of makeup in your bag this would deff. add some weight to it. The packaging for the loose eye shadows are sturdy and also have their own design. The packaging for the pressed eyes shadows is sturdy and firm, I've dropped my Love+ eye shadow a couple of times and it has never cracked my eye shadow!:D

2. Price

The price is sort of steep BUT you get a good amount of product.
The Sweetheart palette is $34 and the net weight is 3.5 grams / .12 oz. × 4
Goldilux loose eye shadow is $12 and the net weight is 5 grams.
Love + pressed eye shadow is $12 and the net weight is
3.5 grams / .12 oz
In my opinion these products are deff. worth the price.

3. Longevity

The colors last extremely long and don't budge if you use a base, primer etc. I was scrubbing my arms trying to get the swatches off and it took a good amount of scrubbing! The colors are extremely pigmented so colors like Afterparty and Love+ sort of stained my skin. They are easily blended with other colors and you can build up the color to make it more bright and vivid or just apply less for a pop of color!

4. Colors

The Sweetheart palette
For the swatches I applied NYX's Milk as a base/primer, except for Tako, I applied Urban Decay's primer potion underneath as a base/primer :)

I love the colors! They are true to how they look on the palette! Extremely pigmented, matte, bright, vivid, opaque just wonderful! I understand these colors aren't for everyone but you can always apply it underneath your waterline for a pop of color!

Love+ Pressed eye shadow

I used NYX's Milk as a base/primer.

This is a true red. I've never had an eye shadow that turns out as opaque and red as I want it to be, this is a MUST HAVE.

Goldilux Loose eye shadow

NYX's Milk as a base.

I absolutely love this loose eyeshadow. It is extremely beautiful. My photo doesn't do it much justice but it is just so wonderfully pigmented. The glitter is so fine and gives any look just the right amount of sparkle. You can also build it to make it more opaque and pop out even more.

Stella loose eye shadow

NYX's Milk as a base

I love this loose eye shadow, sadly it's very hard to capture the true color it gives off:/
It has fine glitter of multiple colors like blue's and purple's. It is such a beautiful loose eyeshadow. I received it as a sample but I removed as much of it as possible and put it in a little empty pot I had:)
I will deff. purchase this! It's a great loose eyeshadow.

For better swatches or to purchase Sugarpill cosmetics click here: Sugarpill Shop

5. Texture

The texture of the eye shadows in the Sweetheart palette and Love+ are quite creamy even though they're pressed and matte. At first I thought they'd be chalky or dry but they are smooth and somewhat creamy.

The texture of the loose eye shadows, Goldilux and Stella, are soft and well like any other loose eye shadow which has a lot of fall out. They are "dusty" but not in a bad way. They are very soft to the touch and lids.

Hope this was helpful to anyone looking into purchasing Sugarpill cosmetics
XOXO

Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box Review

Here's another review to another Urban Decay palette!
This is the Deluxe Shadow Box palette. I know this is an old palette but they were having a sale of these on the UD site and I just had to buy another one since my old one was practically gone.

I took this photo after unboxing <3 That's why the palette looks untouched
My room is purple, my curtains are purple and the palette is purple and pink (Looks so pretty!)
Disclaimer: All pictures are mine.*I will review this product based off of 5 things. 1. Packaging 2. Price 3. Longevity (Durability, easily smudged etc.) 4. Colors (Vibrancy, opaque, color variety, easy to blend etc.) 5. Texture

1. Packaging

The packaging is really cute, girly but sort of cheap. Feels like fabric glued onto cardboard. It gives me like an early 2000 feel. But I love the inner design with the flowers, branches, leaves and birds! It doesn't seem very sturdy but nonetheless it's really cute.

2. Price

This palette is currently on sale for only $10!! Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box click on the link to go directly to their site.
This is a great palette for the price!
Fill Weight: Deluxe Eye Shadow 9 x 1.2 e 9 x .04 US oz

3. Longevity

The durability is good with primer or base primer or any sticky base for that matter. They don't tend to crease for the first hour or two. Colors like Shag, Zero, Scratch, Underground and Ransom tend to last the longest and the brighter colors like Fishnet, Honey, Graffiti and Peace fade or crease faster. They are all very easily blended into each other which I love!

4. Colors

Here are some swatches! I took pictures in different lighting so you can see how the colors change. All the swatches have NO primer/base underneath.

All the colors are vibrant even the more neutral colors. The bright vivid colors are very opaque and you can easily build them up to make them even more vibrant. The palette has a wide range of colors to neutrals like browns, black and a highlight/pinky flesh toned color (Scratch).

I couldn't seem to flip the picture!:c sorry!:(

5. Texture

The texture of all the colors except Zero are creamy. Zero is more matte so it's a little more "dusty" and takes more to build up the color and make it opaque. All the colors are smooth and soft to the touch and to the lid.

EXTRAS!!**

Along with the palette we got 2 sponge applicators and a travel size Eyeshadow Primer Potion which pretty much had no product inside whatsoever.

Overall I loved this product. The colors are fun, vibrant alongside some neutrals:)

Dr.Scholl's MASSAGING GEL INSOLES

I received a pair of Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles complimentary from BzzAgent.
Off the bat these are GREAT for pretty much anyone.
I used these for Warped Tour, which if anyone knows you're walking around the entire day in killer heat and having people push you around, bump into you, accidentally step on you etc. These were cooling and allowed my feet to keep going until the end of the day.
PRO's: Fit any size 6-9. Easy to use. Soothes feet.
CON's: Are extremely hard to put inside a very closed shoe!

You receive a pair like the above photo. It's a huge gel insole that has numbers marked size 6-9.
I cut mine to 7 1/2. In the end I had to cut it to a 6! It was way too big.
Closer look at the markings.
I honestly wouldn't wear these everyday because it is sort of buldgy in your shoe. If you have tight fitting closed sneakers this would make the shoe extra tight on you and would be very hard to put it inside your shoe.
I liked them cause they were comfy on open shoes and helped relieve pressure from my feet!
Thanks BzzAgent for the opportunity to try these out!

VEET EasyWax Electrical Roll-On Kit

Here is my honest review on the VEET EasyWax  Electrical Roll-On Kit.
I got the kit complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.
WARNING: There will be LEG HAIR in the pictures.

To test out this product I had to first try it. I tried it 3 different times. The first times I only waited a week for hair growth and the wax didn't remove anything whatsoever. The second time I waited 2 weeks and still very little hair got removed. This time I waited 3 weeks and it finally removed some hair. My aunt was visiting and decided to try out this kit with me. She hadn't shaved for a little over a month.

Let's begin.

The kit comes with everything you need. (All the pictures are mine)

It comes with wax, and electrical charger, the roll on stick, waxing strips and instructions.

The first thing you do is heat the roll on stick. The instructions say to leave it heating for about 30 minutes, it never seems to work for me, so I leave it on for 45 mins to an hour.

Photo of my leg covered in Veet wax.
Once it's ready slide the roll on stick and cover the area you want to wax.
Get a good amount of wax in the area so the strip has more to hold on to.

Next step is to place the strip on the area you are going to wax.
Place it firmly onto your leg and smooth the strip so it's firmly gripped to the area.

Finally, pull up firmly and remove strip.

This is my hair strip. It didn't remove everything completely or evenly.

I personally liked this product even though it didn't remove my hair evenly. I liked it because all other products I've used for hair removal are awful. I didn't like that you had to wait so long just to wax but if you want your skin to be smooth and hair-free for a long time than this is the product for you.

My aunt had a better experience. She had month old hair.

Her strip removed evenly and visibly all the hair in the area!
Obviously this product really does work you just have to let your hair grow!

Because of her experience I like this product.
The con is the waiting period to let your hair grow but I think it's worth the wait.

If you want to learn more about the product check out the Veet Website at VEET EasyWax™ Electrical Roll-On Kit

XOXO

Urban Decay Mariposa Palette

The Urban Decay Mariposa Palette is probably one of my favorite palettes from Urban Decay. Most of the palettes' colors are deep tones that are great for a night out or evening. You can definitely pat them lightly to soften their look or pack them on for a more intense build up of the color!

I will review this product based off of 5 things. 1. Packaging 2. Price 3. Longevity (Durability, easily smudged etc.) 4. Colors (Vibrancy, opaque, color variety, easy to blend etc.) 5. Texture

1. Packaging *Note: All the photos are mine*

I absolutely love the mariposa tin the colors are in! It is very beautiful! Once you're through with the palette or depot the colors you can definitely make use out of the very pretty mariposa tin! The tin reminds me of the same material as the Naked Palette 2 tin. It's sturdy except the lid to open the tin is really annoying. It takes effort to open it, I'm not sure if just mine came too tight but I find myself having to tug hard to open it. What's beneath the tin is a mariposa cardboard box. It's really cute! I love the color purple plus it matches the inside of the tin.

2. Price
This is currently on sale at the Urban Decay site for only $12 while the original is $39. I believe some sites are still selling at original price so if you want to buy this head on over to the Urban Decay site! It's definitely worth the price! UPDATE** Urban Decay is currently out of stock on the Mariposa Palette!:(
The
Fill Weight: 10 x 0.8g e 10 x 0.03 US oz according to the Urban Decay site. Which is not bad at all for $12 but a little steep in my book for $39.

3. Longevity

Some colors seem to last longer than others. Colors like Limelight, Spotlight, Wreckage, Gunmetal and Mushroom are deeper tones and tend to not smudge as easily as Haight and Infamous, yet they are easily blended. Most of the colors are very creamy and shimmery so they do smudge and can be wiped off with more ease if not used with a good primer or if you tend to have really oily eyelids.

4. Colors
Let's get into it! Bring in the swatches!

From left to right: Rockstar. Gunmetal. Skimp. Infamous. Wreckage
Rockstar: is an intense deep aubergine tone. (Aubergine = Eggplant color)
Gunmetal: dark grey with metallic and silver undertones
Skimp: To me this is a more shimmery version of Foxy from the Naked 2 palette. It's sort of a nude peachy cream color.
Infamous: a vivid fuchsia in between a matte and shimmer
Wreckage: a medium taupe color with gold undertones
From left to right: Limelight. Spotlight. Mushroom. Money. Haight.
Limelight: a gold bronze
Spotlight: a medium shimmery copper chocolate
Mushroom: an ashy gray
Money: pale gray green
Haight: a vibrant pigmented blue

All the colors in this palette are shimmery none are truly matte. The deep tones are very rich and colors like Infamous and Haight are vibrant. The vibrant tones seem to be the most opaque.  This palette has good variety but I wouldn't say these are spring colors. The colors are more for fall or winter. It has 2 playful colors but the rest are deep rich warm neutrals except Skimp which is a creamy peach nude color. Nonetheless the colors are versatile, if applied more softly you can achieve a warm sultry summer look.
5. Texture
Since mainly all the colors are shimmery and creamy the texture is very soft and smooth. Making it easy to blend on the lid. Even the vibrant colors, Haight and Infamous, are smooth and don't go on too powdery.

*Extras*

The only extra is this very small shadow brush. It's cute but not very useful. You can get around tight areas more easily but I wouldn't do an entire eye look with this.

I hope I helped anyone looking into buying this palette with useful information.
XOXO
